In 2016 the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) approved the Passadumkeag Wind Park Omnibus Municipal Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District and Development Program.  This program allows the property taxes paid on the Passadumkeag Wind Park, which is located in Grand Falls Township to be deferred to Penobscot County and used for certain economic development projects within the county's Unorganized Territory.  The Applicant Guidelines outline the types of projects that are eligible.  Applicants applying for low interest loans must complete complete both the Project and Loan applications.  Click the links below to access the guidelines and the application forms.
